the Agonda beach is a haven for the loners Agonda, 10-km north of Chaudi, can only be reached along the twisting coast road connecting Cabo De Rama with NH-14 at Chaudi. No signposts mark the turning The beach, fringed along its entire length by Todi trees.

If you are in search for some peaceful moments, head towards the Agonda BeachSprawling over a stretch of three kilometers of golden sand, nearly isolated all the time, one can enjoy complete privacy in the Agonda beach.

Fringed with a shady curtain of lovely palm trees, one will have only the seas and the sand for company here. Fortunately is not covered by grass sheds.

It’s not safe to swim out too far on this beach. There are very few facilities available here and you are needed to carry all the essentials.

Not far from Agonda beach is Cabo de Rama, intact by most of the visitors in this region. The atmosphere of the fort creates a sense of history and drama that very few would fail to understand. The fort is named after Rama, hero of the Hindu epic Ramayana. According to the local legends, Rama stayed here with his wife Sita during the period of 12-year exile.

The Agonda beach is a beautiful stretch of land, which is bordered by the ocean on one side and the small hills on the other side. If you are looking forward to some adventure, hire a tent and spend the night camping on the beach, under the sparkling skies, listening to the thriving of the waves against the shore.
