Palolem Beach

Palolem Beach is located in South Goa and is also known as 'Paradise Beach'. Here on Palolem beach you will find many coco huts and restaurants. There are lots of dolphins in sea across Palolem beach.
During evenings, the beach is beautifully lit. There are colorful lampshades in shacks made of rice straw, jute, bamboo, plain cloth. The shacks lend color to the coastline at night.

Palolem Beach is one of the most scenic beaches of Goa. A shallow bay edging with coconut palms and clear white sands and a lovely village right behind it, the beach attracts thousands of tourists every year.

At the distant is an island-like peninsula and you can walk to it during low tide.

The locals from around this village mainly work in the Toddy tapping and fishing industry.Palolem is a tourist beach hence  there are quite a few shacks selling sea food but the beach doesn't looks crowded. There are also some cafes and memento shops in the village. in spite of the commercialization, Palolem retains its charm of a village.

While at beach just relish the silence. Palolem does not just offers you a privacy, it also gives you that much needed silence. Swimming is very safe at Palolem, but one should keep away from the stream during a high tide. There are shops selling odd sized, informal and bright clothes.
