The Mahalaxmi temple enshrines the deity of Mahalaxmi, the Goddess of wealth. Mahalakshmi is situated in Ponda city a few kilometers from capital of goa. It is a big temple and one of the main tourist attraction in Goa.
The image of Mahalaxmi has close resemblance of that of Mahalaxmi at Kolhapur, the main centre of worship.
