Arambol Beach |
Goa is a land of Sun Sand and sea. Arambol is situated north of Goa.The wind-touch, white sandy stretch adds to the beach's charm. Arambol has a long beach stretch, both rocky and sandy.
At a distance of just about 200m from the sea is a small freshwater lake near the Waghcolomb Hill.

The sea is rough here than any other Goan beaches - still good for swimming but a bit more fun for surf-seekers.scattered with old wooden fishing boats and a line of tourist cafe bars, the bay is good for bathing, but much less charming than its neighbour around the corner.

The sand is soft and white with little cottages on the red slopes, rocks in some places and the approach road lined with shacks offering souvenirs and clothes. The nearby village of Arambol is a typical Goan fishing village. They are friendly people and you chat up with one of them, chances are that you get to listen to some interesting anecdotes.

There is a relaxed environment and a person can totally unwind and relax on this long stretch of still Arambol beach. For exploring the beach while jogging the Arambol beach also offers a well-made running track.
