Padubidri houses a famous Brahmasthana, Mahalingeshwara Maha Ganapathi temple. This temple at Padubidri is dedicated to two deities - Lord Mahalingeshwara and ishtasiddhi Mahaganapathi. The images of this temple is said to be thousand year old.
Padubidri is well-known for a spiritual festival called the Dakke-bali which is held in the Brahmasthana here once in two years.
