Murud Janjira
Murud-Janjira is situated close to Alibagh, which is the headquarter of Raigad district.This is the birth place of Maharshi Keshav Karve. Itis famous due to its beaches, coconut plantations etc.

Murud Janjira Beach, being located around 190 km from the Pune city of India, forms one of its most popular attractions. The beach is situated near the Janjira Fort,One of Maharashtra's most impressive coastal forts.

The green palm trees add a lot to the beauty and freshness of the beach. The atmosphere there is so calm that you can even specifically hear the tweeting of birds from far away.
Since Murud Janjira Beach is not oddly crowded, you can easily relax around as well as have long walks on its sandy shores.
